Family to Family
About
Zimbabwe is a country in crisis.
Drought and political turmoil have made farming challenging. Many Zimbabweans eat just one meager meal a day, and malnutrition is common.
Zimbabwe is home to the largest Brethren in Christ (BIC) conference in the world — more than 50,000 members — and, along with everyone else in their country, our Zimbabwean brothers and sisters are experiencing unimaginable hardship. Yet they remain strong in their faith. Even in these darkest of times, they are confident that God will provide — that their long night of suffering will soon become like the noonday.
Join us in purchasing nutritional meals for families in need. The goal is to provide food kits for 200 families on a monthly basis, especially during the dry season.
Each kit contains …
- 110 pounds of cornmeal
- 4.5 pounds of sugar
- 2 liters of cooking oil
- 13 pounds of beans
- 2 pounds of salt
- 1 pound of tea leaves
- 2 pounds of soap bars
By giving to the Family to Family project, you provide nutritious meals to Zimbabwean families in need.
