Musical Instruments for House Churches

All around the world, Christians use music to glorify God, to repeat his promises, and to remind ourselves of his goodness. And BIC house churches in urban Thailand are training up the next generation in this global and perpetual practice of worshipping God through music.

Children and young adults have been learning to play instruments so they can lead music during worship services. The local church in Thailand is pledging to continue to provide these music lessons, but as the worship team grows, there aren’t enough instruments to go around.

With additional instruments, these young people will be able to make music to the Lord and use their growing talents to serve their congregations.

In addition to leading worship at weekly house church meetings, these new musicians will share music at larger gatherings of the house church network. As such, this project will also purchase protective cases to transport the new instruments to these larger gatherings.
