Urgent Funding Need

As the rainy season approaches, construction of the Bethel SPICE Hostel is on an expedited timeline. Give now to help them reach their goal of completing the hostel before June 2026.

The Bethel Hostel in Odisha, India, is a girls housing facility for SPICE (Sponsorship Program for International Children’s Education). During the school year, approximately 120 girls who would not otherwise have access to education call the hostel their home.

Built in 1999, the current hostel is an old structure that has deteriorated significantly. Because of the building’s age and limitations, it was determined that building a new facility would be a better use of resources. Construction on the new building has begun, but additional support is needed to complete the project.

The new hostel will include:

  • Dormitory halls
  • Toilets and bathrooms
  • Kitchen and dining area
  • Study/multi-purpose room
  • Warden’s room and bathroom
  • Water tank and hand pump
  • Boundary fencing for safety and security

This new building will provide a safe and hygienic facility for the girls and the staff, making their lives and studies more enjoyable and productive. The students’ parents will be more confident that this is a positive place where their daughters will grow educationally, relationally, and spiritually.

By giving to the Construction: Bethel SPICE Hostel project, you will help create a safe and stable living environment for 120 girls as they learn and grown in their faith.
